Father Charles Bowes

Father Charles Bowes was born on February 4, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida.

He studied philosophy and theology at Mount St. Mary's Seminary and received a masters degree in Communication Arts from the University of Notre Dame.

He was ordained on June 5, 1971 by Bishop Paul F. Tanner in Jacksonville, Florida. Father Bowes was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Cincinnati on January 21, 1981.

Father Bowes was in residence at Our Lady of Lourdes from May 1977 until he received his first assignment as parochial vicar at St. Savior Church on December 1979.  He was appointed pastor of St. John the Baptist, Dry Ridge on July 1, 1983.

On July 1, 1998 he was appointed pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Greenhills.  He was appointed to a second term at Our Lady of the Rosary commencing on July 2, 2004.
