"And the Lord replied, "Who, then is the faithful and prudent steward whom the master will put in charge of his servants to distribute the food allowance at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master on arrival finds doing so."

Question of the Week – What does it mean in my life to be a trustworthy steward?

"But God said to him, ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you’……….Thus will it be for all who store up treasure for themselves but are not rich in what matters to God?"

Question of the Week – Do I store up possessions or blessings?

If you know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?"

Question of the Week – What have I asked for and not received? How have I asked for the Holy Spirit to help me understand the Father’s answer to my prayers?

 

Procedure for Using the Question of the Week

This is meant to be a brief sharing at the beginning of any meeting we have that week:

  1. Read the Question aloud.
  1. Read the Gospel Reading aloud.
  1. Read the Question again. Give all a moment of silence to prepare their response.
  1. Everyone shares one-on-one with a person sitting near them for just one minute.
  1. Ask if anyone cares to share their thought with the whole group.
  1. Meeting Leader ends with a Closing Prayer - Spontaneous or an "Our Father" or another appropriate prayer.

The whole process should take no more that 5 minutes
